Hot off the press from Bentley Publishers is a new book by former Corvette Chief Engineer, Dave McLellan. This book is fascinating to read. Dave is to date the first Corvette Chief Engineer to sit down and write his view of what happened in Corvette. The book is full of Corvette history. McLellan describes the ups and downs' Corvette has gone through and the struggles the engineers themselves had in order to keep Corvette alive. Dave McLellan shares many personal stories of his years in Corvette Engineering. The book is also full of sketches and charts drawn by him as he explains many of the technical problems in the evolution of the Corvette. From C1 to C5 he shows the design progress and of course he shares his prized baby ? the ZR1 and its challenges. Dave also shares personal photos with first-hand memories of his 32 years at GM. He climaxes the book with his vision of Corvette's future. I really enjoyed the book and highly recommended it.
