Victory Lane - October 2000

We just received a pre-publication copy of the republished version of one of the most sought after collectable books. An original copy can bring over $300. It is worth it and the reprint has to be a must-have bargain with an additional 32 pages of photos and comments by Donohue's contemporaries. Donohue's original book is his story of how a talented aanalytical, hard-working engineer became a talented, hard-working, analytical race car driver and a racer of the highest order: champion of SCCA, Can-Am, Trans-Am and Indy and on his way to F1 champion when it took his life. It is an absolute must read to understand racing, car preparation, car set up, the psychology of racing and the '60s and '70s racing scene.
